Available Bing Templates #

Bing: Clicks #

What it displays: Total clicks from Bing search results for the selected date range as a KPI tile.

Why it is helpful: A simple headline metric for Bing search traffic. Useful for quick reporting and comparing date ranges.

Bing: Impressions #

What it displays: Total impressions in Bing search results for the selected date range as a KPI tile.

Why it is helpful: Measures visibility in Bing. Useful for tracking whether your content is appearing more often, even before clicks increase.

Bing: Clicks v Impressions #

What it displays: A line chart showing daily clicks and impressions across the selected date range.

Why it is helpful: Helps you separate traffic changes from visibility changes. If impressions rise but clicks do not, CTR may be the issue. If both rise, rankings or coverage may be improving.

Bing: Impressions over time #

What it displays: A line chart showing daily impressions across the selected date range.

Why it is helpful: A clear visibility trend chart. Useful for monitoring indexing, coverage, and overall search presence in Bing.

Bing: Top queries #

What it displays: A table of queries ordered by clicks, including impressions, CTR, and Avg Position. Shows up to 100 rows.

Why it is helpful: Highlights the searches that drive traffic from Bing and the queries where you have visibility but low CTR. Avg Position adds ranking context for prioritizing improvements.

Using Templates Effectively #

  • Pair Clicks v Impressions with Top queries to understand both trend and keyword drivers.
  • Use Impressions as an early indicator when you publish new content or improve SEO.
  • Use Clicks as the KPI you compare against other sources like GA4 Sessions or Search Console Clicks.
