SiteStats includes ready to use Google Search Console templates so you can quickly add meaningful SEO insights to your dashboard. Templates come pre-configured with useful metric and dimension combinations, but you can edit any module after loading it.
Where to find templates #
Go to SiteStats → Search Console. Click the Templates section at the top of the page. Select any template and it will be loaded into the builder below.
Available Search Console Templates #
SC: Clicks #
What it displays: Total clicks from Google Search for the selected date range as a KPI tile.
Why it is helpful: Provides a simple overview of organic search traffic. Ideal for headline reporting and quick comparisons between date ranges.
SC: Clicks over time #
What it displays: A line chart showing daily clicks across the selected date range.
Why it is helpful: Helps identify traffic trends, algorithm impacts, seasonality, or the effect of new content and SEO changes.
SC: Top pages #
What it displays: A table of pages ordered by clicks, including impressions, CTR, and average position.
Why it is helpful: Highlights which pages attract the most search traffic and reveals pages with high impressions but low CTR that may need title or meta description improvements.
SC: Top queries #
What it displays: A table of search queries ordered by clicks, including impressions, CTR, and average position.
Why it is helpful: Shows which keywords drive traffic to your site. Useful for keyword optimization, identifying ranking opportunities, and discovering content gaps.
Using Templates Effectively #
- Combine Clicks over time with Top queries to understand both trend and keyword drivers.
- Use Top pages to identify content that ranks well but has low CTR and optimize titles and descriptions.
- Monitor Clicks as a KPI alongside GA4 Sessions to compare search traffic with overall site traffic.
